He has also done sales enablement for internal teams through trainings and videos. Prior to joining Vercel, Hassan worked as a Developer Advocate at Fig, where he contributed thousands of lines of JavaScript to Fig’s open source product, improved developer experience by revamping the docs, writing guides, and doing weekly livestreams, grew Fig’s community discord, and redesigned and implemented a web app using React + TypeScript and wrote CLI parsers in Python. Before that, he worked as a Software Engineer at Sleek, where he implemented several features in a food ordering app using React, Redux, & JavaScript, helped migrate the app to serverless backend running on AWS Amplify with DynamoDB & Lambda, developed GraphQL API schema & Node.js Lambda functions to connect front-end to back-end, and helped Sleek ship V2 of their flagship app for demos to secure large partnership deals. Hassan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Drexel University.
